The 2009 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship opened Friday night at
the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul. In the early game, University of Wisconsin Stevens Point
defeated Cornell 61-53 to advance to the championship game Saturday night. In the nightcap,
University of St. Thomas overwhelmed Aurora University, winning 96-73.
